The Empathy Collective
London, Ontario

Who are we? The Empathy Collective is a social club originated by four Fanshawe College students. In December of 2024, a small group of women studying Project Management engaged a mission to compete in the OPMC (Ontario Project Management Competition). The competition required a project to fulfill a United Nations' SDG. During this process, our team needed a name, and thus "The Empathy Collective" was born.
Our team plans to create and manage small projects in Southwestern Ontario that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Project(s):
SDG 16.1 "Reduce all forms of violence and related death rates everywhere" (United Nations, n.d.).
"Freedom to Flourish," is a fundraising project aimed at supporting Shelter Movers, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence and abuse. Shelter Movers provides essential safe transportation and relocation services to those in need.
Details of the project outcomes will be posted in the days to come.
With that, please also check back for the next upcoming project beginning Spring/Summer 2025. We look forward to partnering and making a difference together.
